Made from tightly-woven monofilament materials, the Barrier fabric gives you protection from the elements while allowing your body to breathe and avoid moisture overload. Its versatility is one reason it can be used either as a wind breaker on high-speed descents, a rain protector during flash storms in the summer, or even an extra layer to take along for winter rides, just in case. The vest has been ergonomically designed to allow a layer underneath it, yet at the same itAAAs time cut close enough to the body that you wonAAAt have excess fabric flapping in the wind or feel like you are parachuting rather than descending down a mountain. Elasticized hem and arm holes give you that snug, secure feeling, and the arm -holes are not oversized so as not to catch wind, either. Reflective elements have been added for post-dusk rides.
